Lorelei: The Witch of the Pacific Ocean is the next japanese blockbuster to hit screens. It’ll be released on the 3rd of March in its home country. It’s about a submarine (the i-507) and its crew, searching an american boat transporting an A-bomb to Tinian. They’re basically trying to stop a third bombing of Japan from happening.
It’s all fictional of course so don’t go and send me emails about how much bull***t the movie’s about. That’s not the point it’s a submarine movie and Koji Yakusho stars in it. You should be happy.
Young japanese female’s favorite Satoshi Tsumabuki is also in it. Happiness for all genders, that’s what cinema.3yen.com is all about after all.
Don’t be fooled by the navigation menu, the official site is in japanese, it also has a very annoying music. The trailer has a few english words at the begining.
I found a bunch of scale models enthusiasts discussing the design of the submarine, plus picture of said scaled submarine. That should do for our new-half readership. Triple happiness. Mission complete. Back to base.
